Welcome to Claybird
On this website I share some of my main interests. For the past three years I have been deeply involved in ceramics, with working on the pottery wheel being one of my favourite activities. There is something special about working with clay and watching a piece take shape under your hands.
Another way I enjoy working with nature is through the organic garden. There I grow my own vegetables organically and, together with others, help run educational projects for primary school children.
Another great passion of mine is birds. I photograph birds in the wild and have been breeding a wide variety of bird species, both native and exotic, for around 40 years.
That combination of clay and birds is where the name of this website comes from: CLAYBIRD.
